Applications for two Research Assistant Professors and one Associate Research Engineer in the Electronic Materials Applied Research Center at the Missouri University of Science and Technology are invited.

Applicants for the Research Assistant Professor must have earned a PhD degree or a D. Sci. in ceramic engineering, materials science or related field. Responsibilities for this position include carrying out and directing independent research in the area of electrical ceramics. This includes writing reports, publication of papers, making oral presentations of research results, directing research of graduate students, and preparation of research proposals.

Persons with a minimum of 5 years experience in doing research in ceramic electronic materials and who can demonstrate qualifications through the publication of papers in the field of ceramic electronic materials will be considered.

Applicants for the Associate Research Engineer must have earned a BS degree in mechanical engineering with an emphasis in materials and pulse power. Responsibilities for this position include new product development and applied research, facilitate multiple advanced development projects for Government Agencies and Industry, Risk Mitigation in fast paced R&D programs.

Persons with a minimum of 7 years experience in doing research in ceramic electronic materials, 4 year college degree plus one year required internship/residency, and special certification or licensure in "Select" security clearance will be considered.
